About Your Writer

Raechel has always wanted to be a writer since she was a kid, but she was told "writers don't make any money."  She found a love for science and helping people. She became a nurse and has been a nurse for 10 years. Primarily, Raechel's nursing experience has been in the home-setting, caring for special needs adults and children. When she is not busy with her writing business, Raechel enjoys spending time with the ones she loves most. Raechel loves animals, and she is a proud pet parent to her chickens and two dogs. She loves exercising, practicing yoga & meditation, reading, spending time in nature and listening to podcasts.

In October 2024, Raechel published her first book, Verses with a Voice, which is a poetry collection dedicated to those affected by mental illness, grief and addiction. This book is available on Amazon.

What is the meaning of Rael Thymes?

It honestly came to me in a dream! I selected the name "Rael" for the play on words with "real" and "Rae" from the beginning of my name. I chose "Thymes" for the play on words with the herb, which is symbolic of holistic wellness, and "times" to indicate written publications or news. I wanted to pick a name that had meaning and aligned with my mission.
